ABIDE (EP) 2026

  • Keep on Asking (Mt. 7:7, 8) - 1996, After a personal study on the first few chapters of the Book of Matthew, I kept returning to the verse about asking, seeking, and knocking and how such diligence brings about results (Mt 7:7). How much more our Father in heaven cares for His children! Since I felt upbeat about such a promise, the music was easily written in a cheerful rhythm and melody.
  • Psalm 91 - 1996, I was reading through Psalm 91 and remember hearing music as I read through it. I tried to capture the beauty of the melody, yet there's no measure too high to compare with the heavenly music that Elohim sings over His people (Zep. 3:17).
  • At the Altar - 2001 prior to 9/11, I had an unction to draw closer to Elohim (God). As I played my instruments during prayer, I developed this song first from the piano recorded it, then added the melodic flute.
  • Come Mashiach (Rev 22:17) - In 2010 We were completely immersed in Hebraic thought and anticipated the Mashiach's return. Again, in the quiet of prayer and playing the piano, I developed a simple chord progression adding Scripture verses.
  • Enoch's Path (Gen 6:24)- 2002, Written during the midst of a hot Tucson night after a full day with my two toddlers. It was a cry to Elohim (God) for His mercy and strength as I was feeling quite frazzled as a new mother, and I guess I wanted to be translated to His Presence like Enoch. (Kinda funny now!) Thankfully, He did strengthen me and gave me many good days with my children. He also helped me to remember the song and write it down.
  • Your Glorious Name (Neh. 9:5-8) - 2010, This song wasn't so easy to write. I did many rewrites of melody and rhythm before finally going back to the original format for inspiration. Originally, this song was developed for congregational singing during the Feast of Sukkot just like in the Book of Nehemiah where the Levitical priests sang praises to Elohim (God). They were back in Jerusalem after their 70 years of Babylonian captivity.
  • Amazing Grace, public domain - I've played my wooden flute at many functions from pow-wow's, funerals, services, and ministry times of healing and deliverance. Always sounds the best on my Gm flute by  Butch Hall.
     

ALWAYS KEEP IN MIND (EP) 2019

  • Always Keep in Mind (2 Tim. 2:10-14) - 2003 This season of life was full of homeschooling, music ministry, and church activities. I would wake up early to walk our young Golden Retriever, Sir Benn, and to pray. It was difficult to keep my mind on spiritual things, so, the Holy Spirit inspired me to write these verses to an upbeat pop-sounding song mainly so I wouldn't forget the Word!
  • Kingdom Life (Rev. 19:7-9) - 2009, We had been keeping the Sabbath for 4 years and were still learning Hebraic ways. I loved reading the passages in the Book of Revelation that told me what the rewards are for those believers who overcome. They will be a part of the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. If we are chosen, we may even become His Bride, halleluYah!
  • My Rock (2 Sam. 22:1-3) - 2017, I had a brief reprieve from my full-time job, so I had time to write a few songs. This one took some work, a few months, before I felt it was ready to record. Lots of instrumentation was lopped off because it got muddy sounding. Anyway, I'm very happy with the final results.
  • Neighbor - (Tribute to Randy Roseberry) - 1996 Our neighbor, Randy Roseberry, was a unique person who was unforgettable. A bachelor, no kids, and half Anglo and half Native American, he had lived a quiet lonely life without family. Randy was in his mid-40's when he passed away from liver failure after suffering with a disability caused by breathing toxic chemical fumes as a lab technician at a nearby lab. His passing knocked the wind out of my sails because he was all alone. We saw him occasionally and would argue or banter with him. He was quite insistent about not believing in the Bible or Yeshua. However, after the hospital called us to tell us he had passed away earlier that morning, I went into his apartment, (it was next to ours). The place was very tidy with everything put away except for the Christian evangelical tract left out on his dining room table. It was face up with a prayer for salvation. I believe Randy accepted Yeshua at the end, and I hope to see him again by Messiah's side.
  • Summer is Near (Lk 21:29-36) - 2009,  These verses inspired met to put music to the message of warning that Luke presents. I wanted a groovy, laid-back sound, kind of an Earth, Wind, & Fire-ish feel. It was fun working with Cody, guitar soloist, and Chad as we worked on the flute and guitar solos.
